My mother

A young boy said to his mother, ‘How old were you when I was born?’ His mother replied, ’23.’ ‘Wow, that’s a lot of time we missed spending together.’

My mother was 40 when I was born. I missed 40 years spending together with her.

I had the small photo of my Mum which started fading away & I was determined to do her justice before I lose that photo completely. I have tried to draw that portrait 4 times. My first attempt was when I was 10. The last drawing of that photo was done with pencils and crayons when I was 23. The original photo almost faded away now.
