Young Garvan All ribbons Ball sponsorship

Decided to be a sponsor of the Young Garvan All Ribbons Ball at the Wentowrth Sofitel Hotel tonight. First time I have ever tried something like this, so we donated two great prizes and saw where it took us!

Tons of work, with little time beforehand saw the event upon us before we knew it. The organisers offered us to be Gold sponsors in light of our level of donation, which meant we could take some friends along.

Also, they asked if our studio would be the event photographers as well, and so Craig from our studios came along and did a sterling job under busy conditions.

We all got dressed up, and had a great time; but the biggest surprise of all was how well our auction items went. We introduced a new product: a portrait photographic session including an amazing back-lit LED ultra-thin wall mounted display that is sensational! Also we put together a top wedding package. Bidding was spirited, but towards the end of the night when the final fund-raising was tallied, our studio contributed 15% of the overall funds, making us the highest earning sponsor of the night behind the major corporate sponsors of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Macquarie Private Bank!
