Rebecca married her dashing man, John at St Spyridon’s in Kingsford. I knew she would look resplendant in her gown because she had already sent me a sneak-peek; but to see her in person was “Wow”.
I think John felt that Wow as she entered the church.
Of course, Rebecca and John already had been photographed by me at their pre-wedding session in our studio grounds, so I knew they were photogenic!
Assisted by 5 beautiful ladies, and 5 handsome groomsmen, the bridal party made a huge statement whereever we went that day.
After the service, we travelled in convoy into the city and with the generous permission of the management of The Argyle, we photographed some great moody shots there. Check back frequently to see when they will be available, or become a fan of Art Photography by Kira on Facebook to be notified when the images are available. They will be stunning.
The evening was spent at Doltone House at Sylvania Waters. As usual the food and ambience was trademark “Doltone”. The bride a groom creating some surprises of their own by breaking away from the tradtional “Bridal Dance”, and produced a stunning choreographed recreation of the climactic scene from the movie “Dirty Dancing”. The whole bridal party, even down to the flower girl and page-boy were involved in this 5 minute set-piece. The guest went wild! What a treat!
The day was also covered by videographer Josephine Canto from Videoworx.
All too soon, the day was over and we all went our separate ways. I know their pictures will be just great!
Until next time,
