Sensual boudoir photography

Sensual boudoir photography I know a lot of photographers are struggling to control the light and make it interesting for their boudoir photography. Sometimes just using what you have can do the trick.  If anything I believe that boudoir photography offers more lighting choices than most other genres as you often can play with light and shadows without worrying about flattering light one would need for portrait photography. Sheer curtains to diffuse slightly and the light through the windows can give you all the effects you need to make a sensual boudoir photograph.

Back-lit portrait photography

Back-lit portrait photography One of the commonly known rules in basic photography is to avoid shooting against the sun or into the light. As if you do not know what you are doing – you will likely end up with either completely over exposed photographs or underexpose subjects and ugly shadows. If you are inexperienced photographer –  it can be challenging to figure out how to light your subject correctly in the back-lit situation. But mastering backlit photography can transform the way you shoot. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the breathtaking images you start creating.  Back-light adds drama, makes uninteresting, plain set-up exciting and magical. Soft, diffused back-light produces a romantic and dreamy effect. Ordinary becomes extraordinary! In the examples below – I have used a diffusion screen to filter strong studio light.
