With a concentration on capturing a "perfect moment" when all of the energies of the subject and photographer come together. In addition to colour and black & white photographs, Art Photography by Kira also offers sepia-toned and colorized black & white portraits. Any of our portrait styles can be enhanced with canvas mounting as well. Framing is also available in several sizes and styles.

PORTRAITS OR GLAMOUR

Everyone photographs differently. Lighting and environment vary with every person and my approach is to discover exactly what makes you look great.

You may have an idea or theme in mind. We can suggest many spectacular backdrops in and around Sydney to reflect that look.

The location options are endless so your backdrop to the images could be a beach, the local playground or your own backyard.

People pick different locations for personal reasons, which makes the images very personal. Eg: The restaurant where husband proposed, on the grounds of great grandma's retirement village, in the park where the first kiss took place. You pick the location and let Art Photography be Kira be there for you.


CHILDREN

Can a photograph really capture the unique nature of my child? Award-winning portrait photographer, Kira Likhterova, believes it can.

Not posed, but happy and relaxed at play, the babies, children and families Kira's photographs appear "caught in the moment" as if "suspended in time." This allows her photographs to capture the individual, personal glimpses that is distinctive to you and your child — those moments you wanted so often to photograph.

She is happy to photograph in the comfort of your home, the studio, or on location — whichever you and your child prefer. Her sessions typically last from 1 to 2 hours, and can include Mom, Dad, brothers, sisters, grandparents and pets.


PET PORTRAITS

Part of the fun of taking images of animals is their unpredictable behaviour. It is our patience and endless amount of toys that get us through the session with ease.

Wherever possible we will come to you to get the images done. Our past experience has shown that most animals respond better in a familiar environment so we prefer to meet you on sight.


PHOTO RESTORATION

Art Photography By Kira also provides photo restoration services. We can restore most any damaged photo and do enhancements such as contrast, colour balancing and adding/removing of objects and people in the image.
