Boudoir, Glamour and Portrait photography workshop in Mackay part 3

Boudoir, Glamour and Portrait photography workshop in Mackay part 3 Female Portraits of the students from workshop in Mackay I promised to take all workshop students portraits. So here are some of female portraits I took in the forest when we were practising poses, using a silver reflector. They all have slightly different style – from natural or candid to glamorous. These ladies applied their own make-up in the morning. And the light in the forest wasn’t perfect as we were there in the middle of the day. If I had a choice – I would have my professional make-up artist doing their make-up and hair and I would pick right time  to go to a location. Which only proves that learning posing and directing and, of course, how to manipulate and use light to your advantage is crucial. Then you can take a good portrait any time of the day, in any weather condition. Gorgeous ladies of Mackay Beautiful, mysterious, gentle, loving, creative and, overall, absolutely amazing!   Before   After   Before After   Before After   Before After

Boudoir, Glamour and Portrait photography workshop in Mackay

Boudoir, Glamour and Portrait photography workshop in Mackay Photography workshop What an amazing time we had in Mackay! I am still buzzing with excitement! Two full-on packed days with great students and absolutely great real women who graciously agreed to be Victims of my demonstrational skills and also to be models for our students to practice what they have been learning in our workshop. And that is psychology of posing and directing, posing and using window light, reflectors and back lighting. Then I had 2 days of shooting: A glamour shoot, 2 mother and daughter shoots –  in studio and on location and fun family shoot that included 2 funniest dogs. And… I was interviewed for a local ABC station! Oh,  the fear! I can only imagine how many words I have misplayed as I was put on the spot by a very cheeky Kim who was also our first model on the first day of workshop. I haven’t heard an interview yet as I was shooting on Monday when it went live, but as soon as I can get my hot, little hands on it – I will share it with you – Fear or not! I have to learn to accept myself the way I am as well. So I do as I preach. 😉 No wonder I felt exhausted when we came back to Sydney last night. I will eventually post all the teasers for all the shoots, models and for all the students, but for now I am starting with the teasers for both Kims that were our models on the first day. These ones were presented to both ladies and to all the students on our second day of workshop. Don’t you think that these two ladies are abso-bloody-lutely amazing? Enjoy!   First model.
