Trash the dress shoot

Trash the dress shoot in old Hollywood style. Cheryl and David flew to our cold Sydney from sunny Queensland to have their “Trash the dress” shoot. The idea was to shoot in an old style, involving props, attitude and even a very old “Wet Plate” camera as both Cheryl and David are photographers. We also had the pleasure of using beautiful props from Wishing Well who specialise in luxurious Event Décor.  Their beautiful hand made “Diamonds & Pearls” Collection pieces are featured in this teaser. Photographs on this set with these props would make a great Valentine’s Day gift, don’t you think? Or a magical, romantic way to propose, with images captured forever? Enjoy your teaser my dear Cheryl and David. All my love     Book your own session. Spoil your loved one. Call us on 02 96598444 or email us at: kira@artphotobykira.com.au

“Days of our lives” at Art Photography by Kira

“Days of our lives” at Art Photography by Kira. “Before and After” “Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.” – David Alan Harvey What our eyes see versus what I saw in my mind. The light was harsh, glaring and boring in the middle of the day, but that is what happens at weddings all the time. You have to take a picture not at the time when is convenient to you, but at the time allocated to this location shot. The first picture is what that landscape looked like to the naked eye at the time. The second picture is what I saw in my mind. “Before” photo “After” photo
