Sue & Paul

Sue and Paul married today at St Charbel’s at Punchbowl. Sue prepared herself at her Mother’s home before heading off to their ceremony. Location shots in Sydney’s Hyde Park at the Archibold Fountain and Mrs Macquarie’s chair completed the setting. We then moved off to La Montage at Lilyfield, owned and operated by the same group that runs Curzon Hall; this stylish and sophisticated venue overlooks a beautiful and quiet bay on the Parramatta River. Of course, Sue and Paul were no strangers to my photography having had a pre-wedding session in the studio grounds. Some creative lighting techniques were used to great effect! Susan & David

Another overseas couple, this time from Germany. A delightful young couple, travelling the world who decided to get married in Sydney. Choosing a simple, elegant yet stunning spot at Cremorne Point on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour; this couple said they wanted images to make their friends back home gasp! Susan is a lively beautiful woman who was eager and co-operative. As a result, she got some amazing images; all taken in a short 2 hour period allowing their traveller’s tight budget to provide them with images they will treasure for a lifetime. I love working with these overseas couples who often marry on a weekday, when everything is quiet and beautiful. Have a look at their images – it shows what this studio can produce on a modest budget. Adette & Richard

Adette married Richard in the stunning Blue Mountains west of Sydney. Choosing the magnificent Lilienfels House Hotel, part of the Orient Group which runs not only the famed Orient express but also Sydney’s prestigious Observatory Hotel; their day was fun from the outset. Fun, joy and happiness abounded with this bride, and Richard looked equally dashing. This couple had a wonderful day. Mixing tradtional values, ceremonies and good natured fun; all the guests could feel the love. And it shows in the pictures. My best to you both on your wonderful life journey together. Lori & Damian

Lori & Damian chose Sydney as the backdrop for ther wedding. Lori got ready at Sydney’s Sebel Pier One Hotel and married at St Benedict’s on Broadway. A brief location shoot at Dawes Point right under the Sydney Harbour bridge, just steps away from the Sebel Pier One. Of course, their reception was also held at the Sebel Pier One. Residing in Hong Kong, Lori & Damian are one of the increasing number of overseas clients who choose Art Photography by Kira to record their special memories.
